Please read these terms before using fiNEPAL ("the app"), published by sajilOKuraa. By installing or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. WHAT THE APP IS

fiNEPAL is a personal expense and budget tracking tool. You enteryour own income and expenses manually. The app organises them,displays charts and reports, and lets you export them.

2. WHAT THE APP IS NOT

fiNEPAL does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice. Nothing shown in the app is a recommendation. Figures, charts, budget warnings and reports are calculated from the information you enter and are intended for your personal reference only. You are responsible for your own financial decisions, and you should consult a qualified professional where appropriate. fiNEPAL does not connect to any bank, wallet, or payment service. It does not move, hold, lend, or invest money. It cannot import your transactions automatically.

3. INDEPENDENCE

fiNEPAL is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government, central bank, bank, wallet, or financial institution.

4. WHO MAY USE IT

The app is intended for users aged 18 and over. By using it you confirm that you meet this requirement.

5. YOUR LICENCE

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, redistribute, resell, or create derivative works from the app, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

6. NO ACCOUNT

fiNEPAL has no account system, no login, and no password. The name you enter when you first open the app is a display label stored on your device. It is not an account, we do not receive it, and it gives you no access to anything outside your own phone.

7. YOUR DATA IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

All data you enter is stored on your device and nowhere else. There is no cloud backup and no sync. This means your data may be permanently lost if your device is lost, stolen, damaged, or reset, if you uninstall the app, or if you use "Clear all data". We are not able to recover it in any of these cases. We strongly recommend exporting your reports to PDF or CSV regularly and keeping those files somewhere safe.

8. INTERNET CONNECTION

The app currently requires an active internet connection in order to open. Your data is not transmitted during this check. We do not guarantee that the app will be available or functional at any given time.

9. ACCEPTABLE USE 

You agree not to use the app for any unlawful purpose, not to attempt to interfere with or compromise it, and not to use it to record or facilitate illegal activity.

10. PRICE AND FUTURE CHANGES

The current version is free and contains no advertising and no in-app purchases. We may introduce advertising or paid features in future versions. Any such change will be disclosed before it is released, and you are free to stop using or uninstall the app at any time.

We may add, change, or remove features, or discontinue the app entirely, at our discretion.

11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The app, its name, logo, design and content are owned by us and protected by applicable law. The financial data you enter remains yours.

12. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any calculation, chart, or report it produces will be accurate or complete.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, savings, or opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the app, including losses resulting from financial decisions made in reliance on it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

14. PRIVACY

Our handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy at https://sites.google.com/view/finepal, which forms part of these terms.

15. TERMINATION

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or discontinue the app, or your access to it, at any time.

16. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may revise these terms as the app changes. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. Continuing to use the app after a revision means you accept the revised terms.
