Call for Abstracts
We invite abstracts of published or unpublished work for contributed talks to take place at the satellite symposium. The scope includes but is not limited to:
Network representations aimed at understanding economic and financial systems
Network analysis or models of economic processes including technological innovation, labor market dynamics, the green transition, production, trade and globalization
Network analysis or models of financial dynamics including lending, payments, price correlations, portfolio management, and the impact of structured financial products
Empirical analysis of large-scale data from economic and financial infrastructures
Multilayer or interconnected network representation of economic and financial systems
Quantification of systemic risk, early-warning indicators, and policy implications
Inference methods for reconstructing economic and financial networks
Economic Complexity, development and innovation patterns, green economy
Sustainability, inequality, ESG and socially responsible investing
Economic behavior, market dynamics, agent-based modeling
Fintech, cryptocurrencies, retail trading
Submission requirements: We only accept submissions of at most two pages (including a mandatory figure), in PDF format. Submission must include the following information: title of the talk, author(s), affiliation(s), e-mail address(es), name of the presenter. Submissions will be selected by the program committee according to adherence to the workshop theme, originality and scientific quality.
Presenters of accepted contributions must register for NetSci2023. According to the conference rules, speakers will need to be on-site and cannot give the same presentation to the main conference or other satellites.
