The Young Scholar Initiative of the Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET YSI) is a community made up of thousands of students, early-career researchers, and young professionals around the globe pursuing innovative ways of thinking about the economy. INET YSI is organized over the Young Scholar Directory, an online portal.
INET YSI is able to offer a number of travel stipends to early-career researchers based in Brazil and/or elsewhere in Latin America. Travel stipends are intended to support in-person participation for accepted contributors to the "Complexity in Economics and Finance" satellite, consisting of a contribution towards the cost of air travel plus the possibility of shared accommodation from 15-20 October, 2023 near the venue (SENAI CIMATEC).Â
Applications for travel support are administered via the YSI Complexity Economics Working Group.
INET YSI does not pay registration fees. Virtual participation at the reduced rate offered by CCS 2023 may be attractive for YSI applicants in the event that travel support cannot be extended to all accepted abstracts.
