d) Data Collected Automatically: • Device identifier — a unique, randomly generated UUID stored securely on your device using encrypted storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore), used for users who do not sign in • Location data — your approximate or precise geographic location (when you grant permission) to show nearby clubs, events, and to enable geo-fenced features such as coupon/deal redemption • Usage and interaction data — including which events you view or click on, the event title, event date, event genre, nightclub name, nightclub ID, timestamp of click, and the source of navigation (map, list, recommendations, or filter) • Push notification token — an Expo push token saved to our servers when you grant notification permissions, used to send you friend alerts and deal notifications

f) Coupon and Deal Data (when you claim deals): • Coupon claim records — including which deal you claimed, your Firebase UID, the timestamp of the claim, and a device fingerprint, used for anti-abuse enforcement (one claim per deal type per user per venue)
LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING
We process your personal data under the following legal bases as defined by Article 6 of the GDPR:
a) Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR): We process your data for personalization, analytics, social features, location sharing, and push notifications based on your explicit consent, which you provide during the onboarding process or when activating specific features. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
We use your personal data for the following purposes:
• To provide and personalize our services — showing you events and nightclubs relevant to your preferences and location • To generate personalized event recommendations — based on your genre preferences and interaction history • To enable social features — managing friend connections, showing where friends are going tonight, and displaying friend presence on event cards • To enable real-time location sharing — sharing your GPS coordinates with mutual friends during shared events (only when you explicitly activate this feature) • To power emergency safety features — sending push notifications to friends who have the same event saved when you trigger the "Alert Friends" safety button • To deliver push notifications — including emergency friend alerts, deal/coupon notifications, and friend request updates • To manage coupon and deal redemption — claiming deals, generating time-limited QR codes, and enforcing geo-fence and anti-abuse rules • To perform analytics — understanding how users interact with the App to improve our services • To create demographic reports — aggregated, anonymized data for improving our services and for sharing with nightclub venue partners
THIRD-PARTY DATA SHARING
We do NOT sell your personal data to third parties.
We share your data only with the following service providers, strictly necessary for the operation of the App:

e) Nightclub and Event Venue Partners: We may share aggregated, anonymized demographic statistics with nightclub owners and event organizers to help them understand their audience. This anonymized data cannot be used to identify individual users.
f) Legal and Compliance: We may disclose your data when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property.
LOCATION SHARING — SPECIAL NOTICE
The App includes a voluntary real-time location sharing feature that operates as follows:
• Location sharing is entirely opt-in and only activates when you explicitly press the "Share My Location" button. • Your coordinates are only shared with friends who have the same event saved in their personal calendar for the current day. • Location data is stored in Firebase Firestore and is associated with the specific event key (venue + event title + date). • You can stop sharing at any time using the "Stop Sharing" banner displayed on the map screen. • Location data shared in this way is retained for no longer than 24 hours after the event date.
EMERGENCY SAFETY FEATURE — SPECIAL NOTICE
The "Alert Friends" safety button sends a push notification (via the Expo Push API) to friends who have the same event saved in their personal calendar. When this button is activated:
• Your name is included in the notification content so your friends know who sent the alert. • Your current location may be included in the notification data if you have granted location permission. • This feature is intended solely for genuine safety emergencies. Misuse may result in account suspension.
