This Privacy Policy explains how "Find Phone by Clap & Voice" ("we," "our," or "the App") collects, uses, and discloses information when you use our mobile application on iOS and Android devices.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. The App is designed primarily as an offline utility tool. It does not contain any user account registration, and we do not host or operate any private database servers to collect or store your personal identity information.
To provide the core functionality of locating your phone via sound triggers, the App requires specific hardware permissions. All sensor processing occurs locally on your device in real-time.
Microphone / Audio Recording Data: The App requires access to your device’s microphone to detect clapping sounds or voice commands.
Local Processing: Audio captured through the microphone is analyzed instantly on-device solely to trigger the locator alarm.
No Retention: Audio data is never recorded, never saved to persistent storage, and never transmitted over the internet to us or any third party.
Camera & Flashlight Access: The App requests access to the device camera hardware strictly to flash the LED light as a visual signal to help you locate your phone when the alarm triggers. No photos or videos are captured or stored.
Vibration Control: The App accesses device haptics to vibrate the phone when triggered.
Foreground Service / Background Audio Execution: To listen for claps or voice prompts while your phone screen is locked or while the App is minimized, the App utilizes secure system-level background processes.
The App integrates industry-standard third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) to monitor application stability, provide analytics, and deliver targeted advertisements. These third-party partners may collect non-personally identifiable technical data automatically.
We utilize the following third-party integrations:
Purpose: App optimization, performance tracking, and crash analytics.
Data Collected: Firebase Installation IDs, crash logs, device models, operating system versions, and performance metrics (e.g., app load times).

Data Collected: Advertising IDs (AAID for Android, IDFA for iOS), IP addresses, device language settings, network provider info, and ad interaction data (clicks/impressions).

App Tracking Transparency (ATT): In accordance with Apple guidelines, if you are running iOS 14.5 or later, the App will explicitly ask for permission to track you across third-party apps for advertising purposes. You can modify your choice at any time via Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
Privacy Manifest: The App includes a mandatory PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy file declaring all third-party SDK usage, required-reason APIs, and tracking identifiers to ensure complete Transparency with Apple's ecosystem rules.
Data Safety Section: In alignment with Google Play requirements, we declare that while the App accesses sensitive permissions (Microphone), no user data is collected or shared from these sensors. The only data shared with third parties relates to the analytical and advertising identifiers processed securely via HTTPS by AdMob, Meta, and Firebase.
Advertising ID Control: You can reset or opt out of personalized ads at any time via your device settings under Settings > Privacy > Ads.
The App does not knowingly collect or solicit data from anyone under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions within the EU). If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that a third-party SDK within our App has collected data from a minor without consent, please contact us so we can request its removal from our partners' servers.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our operational practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of any updates by posting the new Privacy Policy directly on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top.
