At Findory, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our mobile application, Findory (the "App").
Findory is designed as an offline-first application.
• No External Servers: We do not run any cloud servers, databases, or online syncing systems.
• Local Storage: All data you input — including household items, category structures, and photos — is stored locally and securely on your device only.
• No Account Registration: You do not need to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information to use the App.
• No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect, transmit, upload, or share any of your personal data with third parties or ourselves.
To provide the App's core utility, we request the following permissions. All are used strictly on-device:
📷 Camera Permission
• Purpose: Allows you to take photos of your household belongings and attach them to your local inventory.
• How it's handled: Photos are stored directly on your device. Nothing is sent to any external server.
🎙️ Microphone / Speech Recognition
• Purpose: Enables voice-input so you can describe items verbally, which is then converted to text.
• How it's handled: Audio is processed using your device's built-in speech recognition. We do not record, store, or transmit your audio.
💾 Storage / Media Library Access
• Purpose: Enables saving and retrieving item photos from your device's local directories.
• How it's handled: All files remain local to your device at all times.
• No Trackers: We do not include advertising networks, tracking scripts, or analytics SDKs (such as Google Analytics or Firebase).
• No Third-Party Sharing: Because we collect no data, we cannot and do not share anything with third parties.
• User Control: All data resides on your device. You are in complete control of it.
• Deletion: You can delete individual items or clear all data within the App's settings. Uninstalling the App permanently removes all locally stored data and images.
• Backup: As the App is entirely offline, securing your device is your responsibility. We cannot recover data if your device is lost, damaged, or formatted.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
