This Privacy Policy applies to the Android application Find My Phone by Clap: iclappy. Centangle Global("Centangle Global" "we," "us," or "our") is responsible for the App’s data practices described in this Policy.
The App is designed to help you locate your phone using features such as clap or whistle detection and corresponding alerts.
Clap and Whistle Audio Stays on Your Device
When you enable clap or whistle detection, the App accesses the microphone to analyze audio in real time and identify the configured sound pattern.
The App is designed to process this audio locally on your device. Microphone audio is not designed to be recorded, stored as an audio history, or uploaded to our servers for advertising or analytics purposes.
No Account Required
The App does not require you to create an account or provide your name, phone number, or email address to use its core features.
1. Scope and Who We Are
This Policy covers information accessed or processed through the App, including its clap and whistle detection features, microphone access, device sensors, alerts, advertising, analytics, diagnostics, purchases, feedback, and links to third-party services.
This Policy does not govern the independent privacy practices of third-party websites, applications, app stores, advertising providers, or other services that you may access through the App.

2. Device Features and On-Device Processing
Microphone Audio
When you activate clap or whistle detection, the App accesses the microphone to analyze short audio samples and identify sounds that match the configured detection pattern.
Audio analysis is performed on your device. The App is not designed to save microphone recordings, create an audio history, or transmit raw microphone audio to Centangle Interactive, advertising providers, or analytics providers.
Microphone access is used solely to provide the sound-detection functionality of the App.
Motion Sensors
If a feature such as motion-based alert control is enabled, the App may use available device motion sensors, such as the accelerometer, to recognize relevant device movement.
Motion readings are processed on the device and are not designed to be stored or transmitted by Centangle Interactive.
Flash, Vibration, Audio, and Notifications
The App may control your device's flashlight, vibration motor, audio playback, and notifications to help you locate your phone.
Access to the flashlight does not mean that the App captures photos or videos.
These device functions do not cause the App to collect your contacts, messages, files, photos, videos, or precise location.
3. Information the App Handles
Microphone Audio
Examples: Live audio samples used to identify clap or whistle sounds.
Where it goes: Processed on your device and not designed to be uploaded or retained.
Why it is used: To detect the sound that triggers the phone-finding alert.
Motion Data
Examples: Acceleration and device movement information.
Where it goes: Processed on your device and not designed to be uploaded or retained.
Why it is used: To support motion-related features where enabled.
App Settings and Local State
Examples: Detection status, sound selection, sensitivity, flash settings, vibration settings, alert volume, language, theme, onboarding state, and other feature preferences.
Where it goes: Stored locally on your device.
Why it is used: To remember your preferences and operate the App's features.
Analytics and Diagnostics
Depending on the App configuration and your available privacy choices, the App may use third-party analytics or diagnostic services to understand App usage, identify crashes, and improve reliability.
Information may include App version, device model, operating system version, App usage events, installation identifiers, crash information, timestamps, and technical information.
Why it is used: To understand App performance, diagnose technical problems, improve features, and maintain reliability.
Advertising and Consent Data
The free version of the App may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising services such as Google AdMob.
Advertising providers may process information such as advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, device information, App information, consent choices, ad requests, ad interactions, fraud-prevention information, and advertising-performance information.
Advertising data is processed according to the applicable third-party provider's privacy policies and your consent or privacy choices.
Microphone audio and detected clap or whistle sounds are not used for advertising.
Purchase Information
If the App offers optional paid features or an ad-free version through Google Play, Google Play Billing processes the applicable purchase information.
The App may receive information necessary to determine whether a purchase or entitlement is active, such as product information and purchase status.
The App does not receive or store your full credit-card or bank-account details through the App.
Feedback You Submit
If you voluntarily contact us through an available feedback or support feature, we may receive the information that you choose to provide, including your message and technical information necessary to investigate your issue.
Please do not include unnecessary sensitive or confidential information in your feedback.
4. Analytics and Diagnostics
The App may use analytics and diagnostic services, such as Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics, to understand how the App is used and to identify crashes or technical problems.
Depending on the service and configuration, these services may collect:
App usage events;
App version;
Device model;

Installation or session identifiers;
Crash reports;

The free version of the App may display advertisements through third-party advertising providers, including Google AdMob.
Depending on your location, applicable laws, consent choices, device settings, and the advertising provider's policies, advertisements may be personalized, non-personalized, limited, or technical.
Personalized advertising may use information permitted under applicable advertising and privacy rules to provide advertisements based on interests or activity.
Non-personalized advertising may still use certain technical information, identifiers, local storage, frequency-capping information, aggregated reporting, security information, and fraud-prevention information.
The App does not use microphone recordings, clap sounds, or whistle sounds for advertising.
Advertising providers process information according to their own privacy policies.
You may also have access to privacy or advertising controls provided by Google or your device.
6. Google Play Purchases
The App may offer optional paid features or an ad-free version through Google Play Billing.
Google processes information related to your Google account, payment method, billing information, taxes, and transaction.
The App does not receive your full payment-card or bank-account details.
The App may receive product and purchase status information needed to:
Display available products;
Process a purchase;
Confirm a completed purchase;
Restore an entitlement;
Determine whether a paid feature is active; and
Provide the purchased functionality.
Google retains purchase and payment information according to its own policies and legal requirements.

Providing the App: To operate clap and whistle detection, alerts, notifications, flashlight, vibration, sound, and other App functionality.

9. Data Retention and Deletion
Microphone and Motion Data
Microphone and motion information used for detection is processed locally for the relevant feature and is not intentionally retained by the App as a recording or history.
Local App Settings
App preferences remain on your device until you change them, clear the App's storage, or uninstall the App.
Analytics and Diagnostics
Information collected by analytics and diagnostic providers may be retained according to their respective retention policies, configurations, contractual requirements, and legal obligations.
Advertising Information
Advertising and consent-related information may be retained by Google and other advertising providers according to their own policies, settings, and legal obligations.
Purchase Information
Purchase records may be retained by Google according to Google's policies and applicable legal requirements.
Feedback

We do not sell microphone audio, clap audio, or whistle audio.

The App is not directed toward children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the App.
