Psa 119:103
How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
The Lord wants you to know His plans and thoughts through His Word. These daily devotionals are designed as a quick read but with powerful insights and hidden truths as revealed by the Holy Spirit. It helps you to find the faith to trust in God in your most challenging moments.
(Gen 4:15)
The LORD told him, "This won't happen, because whoever kills you will suffer seven times the vengeance." Then the LORD placed a sign on Cain so that no one finding him would kill him.
The modern-day Cain is the believer who shows remorse for past sins and mistakes. Society and the public may have a negative perception of him. But he does not fail to realize the need to plead for mercy and repentance. The assurance and anointing are with Cain. Those who want to do things right with the LORD this time. The word, mark in the Bible describes a distinguishing mark for; remembrance and a miracle. It also represents a warning for the enemy and proof that one has had an encounter with the destiny-changing God. The place of repentance is the arena for experiencing grace, mercy, the perfect nature of the LORD and His anointing. The LORD has issued a command for your sake. By His anointing upon your life, no evil shall befall you. Curses projected shall not stand because the sceptre of favour shall rest upon you.
(Isa 55:3 KJV)
Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
The Spirit of the LORD calls. Inclining your ear means yielding to the call of the Spirit. It is an invitation to live a life of the supernatural. The soul is that which causes one to live. It carries the vital force of life.
It is that which produces the appetite, desire, emotion, passion and activity of the mind. The soul is carried in the breadth of a person. A living soul is one that has been saved by God; it sustains, prospers, restores, heals, quickens, grows and revives.
The ability to hear the voice and respond to the call of the Spirit is what brings life to your soul. Prov. 4:22 tells us also that aside from bringing life to the soul, it brings good health to the body. It does not end there but you also become a partaker of infinite grace. The mercy drops that sustain is upgraded to everlasting covenant of sure mercies.
Because it is not about how you lived, but what you are leaving behind for the next generation.
(2Ch 20:17 KJV)
Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.
Any battle you face in life that threatens your faith in the LORD is not your battle. The issues confronting you which seems to shake your very trust in God, are not meant for you to fight at all. It is the LORD's whom you have been praying to and believing in. His name and glory are at stake, not yours. He has to prove Himself.
You only need to set yourself by resolving in your mind and spirit that nothing should take away your faith and trust in God. Stand at the place of prayer continually and with endurance. Be your own prophet and see beyond the confusion. There is salvation ahead; deliverance, aid, victory, prosperity and healing.
Jerusalem is found in Judah; Jerusalem means; "teaching of peace", and Judah means "celebrated/praise". The peace you so much need will come if only you can praise God through the storms. Fear has no place because Master Jesus is with you. Lift your head and trust in the LORD. He does not fail and will not start with you.
(Joh 14:19 ISV)
"In a little while the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Because I live, you will live also.
Your days and years are not over. There is no death sentence that can hold you captive. Nothing in this world can take your life as a ransom because Jesus lives. Allow Jesus to live in you.
The life of Jesus in you enriches your life; you receive and enjoy true life. You become a fountain of living water, having vital power in your body and soul. There is freshness, strength, efficiency and power in the life of Jesus.
The life of Jesus is a victorious life. As you allow His life to manifest in yours, you will live with Him. You will be able to withstand anything that is thrown at you in the day and you will be able to face tomorrow. No weapon or threat of evil can conquer a life filled with Jesus'.
(Joh 9:11 KJV)
He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight.
The other Word for anointed is to smear. To smear one's body with sputum-laden clay can be considered as the most abhorrent and disgusting spiritual direction a priest can give, which has the potential of ending one's ministerial career.
However, it is not even about how unconventional your miracle may appear, but sometimes, the embarrassing extent that the LORD Jesus may have to go just to see your prayers answered. The pool of Siloam is a place of faith. It is built by prayer(Neh. 3:15) and maintained by grace(Luk. 13:4).
At the place of faith; as you obey the Word and wash by renewing your mind, God cedes His power and authority to you. God becomes man and man becomes God! Everything then works for your good and you become a receptacle of revelations and blessings.
(2Co 9:10 KJV)
Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;
Seed in this context means that which has the ability to germinate or whatever possesses vital force or life-giving power. It is not always in monetary terms but it demands a bit of effort, sacrifice, patience and endurance. A sower appears to be scattering seed but in reality, he provokes ministrations and supernatural provisions from Heaven.
There are three-dimensional blessings reserved for sowers; they receive bread for food. The actual word for bread is from the Greek, airo which means to lift, raise or take up. Elevations and promotions are daily occurrences in the lives of givers. Secondly, they set themselves up for increase and multiplications of more sources of blessing.
The command of Jehovah to be fruitful and multiply is always active in their lives. The third is the ability to attract transgenerational blessings and recipients of God's righteousness.

(Deu 7:1 KJV)
When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;
Keep fighting because God is the one leading you and bringing you the victory. The challenges and issues facing you could be overwhelming but it is the LORD who will cast them out before your very eyes.
The 7 major issues you could probably be facing include; the terror of the Hittite which produces confusion and fear. The deceitfulness of the Girgashites which nearly landed you in a mess. The third is the public ridicule of the Amorites which sometimes caused you seeming embarrassment and inconvenience. The Lord has seen you through the humiliation of the Canaanites, the insecurities and vulnerabilities of the Perizzites. The Hivites are the issues you may term as little but they end up sapping the energy out of you. The Jebusites represent those who look down on you and your potential.
You may have dealt with some at work, in the school or even at church. They are not the end but rather the means to a glorious and fulfilled end the LORD has for you.
(Joh 2:2 KJV)
And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.
This was the beginning of the ministry of Jesus. He had not yet performed any miracle as recorded in the Scriptures. But He still had followers and disciples. You do not have to worship the LORD because of anticipation of a miracle.
Resolve in your heart and mind to; love, follow and obey Him whether you see His hand at work in your life or not. Be willing to go anywhere He leads you. To call is a form of invitation. It also means to; give a name, salute and acknowledge one by name. You need to call Jesus into your marriage, family, work or any other issue in your life.
No need to wait and run out of solutions, before bringing Him on board. Let Him be with you from the beginning. Make a room and seat available so that on the day when you run out of wine, ideas and solutions; He will make His best known to you.
(Neh 9:7 KJV)
Thou art the LORD the God, who didst choose Abram, and broughtest him forth out of Ur of the Chaldees, and gavest him the name of Abraham;
There is a three-dimensional blessing the LORD God is bringing your way;
1. The Blessing of Acceptability: You may be Abram, having a name but without substance. Existing in person but having nothing to show for. Irrespective of the defects, the LORD is choosing you. You are the express and preferred choice of God. You may be broken and empty but you are God's excellent choice. The divine selection has marked you for miracles, sign and wonders.
2. Blessing of Deliverance: Because you have been chosen by God, he is bringing you out of the yoke of the past. Your afflictions may be many but the LORD will deliver you out of them. You will break through and stand out, by the power of the LORD
3. Blessing of Appointment: You are receiving a new identity because of divine appointment and transformation. The LORD is putting you in place to affect the lives of many. The change of name signifies a new authority, character and honour. Let God fulfil every word of blessing and promise in your life. May your trust in Him bring you these blessings and more.
(Luk 11:4 KJV)
And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
Forgiveness is one of the most important paths in Kingdom protocol. The English language comes short of describing the biblical meaning of forgiveness. It is known in Greek as "aphiemi". Its meanings include to; send away, send forth, depart, yield up, let go, let alone, let be, leave, not to discuss now, omit, give up a debt, remit, permit, allow, not to hinder, give up a thing to a person, go away from one in order to go to another place and to depart from anyone.
Sin is not the result of evil, but rather the cause of evil. When sin remains it leads to transgression which also leads to iniquity. Iniquity then causes afflictions. Temptation is a type of affliction which leads to evil consequences. These unpleasant chain reactions have their source from the burden of unforgiveness.
An unforgiving person is indebted and bound to afflictions. Forgiveness is a destination, a place of encounter with the LORD. A forgiving person walks in the realms of deliverance and love.
