Commitment to Privacy
FinBillion is built as a privacy-first, offline personal finance utility. The application is designed so that your financial data remains under your control. Financial records created in the app are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to external servers operated by the developer.
No Personal Data Collection
FinBillion does not require a user account and does not collect or store personal or financial information such as:
• Names, email addresses, or phone numbers
• Bank account details or credit card numbers
• Personal financial records entered into the app
All financial entries remain stored locally on the user's device.
Device Identifiers and System Services
The FinBillion application itself does not collect device identifiers. However, certain platform services provided by Google Play (such as app integrity checks, billing verification, or security services) may process device identifiers or similar technical identifiers as part of their operation. These services operate under Google’s own privacy policies.
Permissions and Usage
Camera
Used strictly for scanning physical receipts. Receipt images remain stored locally on the device.
Microphone
Used for voice input and speech-to-text features, including transaction entry and supported AI interactions.
Storage
Used to store exported reports and receipt images on the user's device.
Artificial Intelligence Features (AiFAB)
FinBillion AI includes AI-powered features that assist users with financial education, application guidance, transaction management, reporting, forecasting, and other finance-related queries.
Information entered into AI features is processed only for the purpose of generating responses and providing requested functionality. Users should avoid entering sensitive personal information that is not required for the requested task.
SMS Transaction Detection (Optional)
If enabled by the user, FinBillion AI may access supported financial SMS messages on the device to identify potential transactions and propose entries for user review.
SMS information is used solely to assist transaction creation. No transaction is recorded without user confirmation.
Local Network Synchronization
FinBillion AI may synchronize data with FinBillion Desktop over a local Wi-Fi or LAN network when the user enables synchronization.
This synchronization occurs directly between the user's devices and is not routed through developer-operated servers.
In-App Purchases
FinBillion AI may offer optional in-app purchases through Google Play Billing. Payment processing is handled by Google Play and subject to Google's applicable terms and privacy policies.
Third-Party Services
FinBillion does not include advertising networks, analytics trackers, or third-party data sharing mechanisms.
Data Security
Financial data entered in FinBillion is stored locally on the user’s device and protected by the device’s own security features such as biometric authentication, passcode, or device encryption.
Data Deletion
Since financial data is stored locally on the device, uninstalling the application will remove all stored data.
