In 2022, my best friend Rob and I fixed up a 1969 Tartan 34c, Sofia, quit our jobs, and sailed from Lake Champlain, Vermont to the Caribbean on an 8-month long adventure.
You can read about our adventures on our substack and check out our Instagram.
We were also featured in Cruising World Magazine.
I also wrote a novel compression algorithm to transmit weather data over the Garmin inReach, which has turned into an open source project.
The next summer, I rode my bicycle 5,000 miles from Armenia to Ireland.
I wrote a reflection piece and documented (some) of the journey on Instagram.Â
In the summer of 2020, my friends, Rob & George, and I celebrated graduating college with a 3-week sea kayak trip across the entire coast of Maine.
We were featured in our local paper and the Maine Island Kayak Company website.
In Laramie, I started an annual last-man-standing race, Backyard Laramie, where runners must complete a 4.167 mile loop every hour on the hour.
I also play traditional Irish music in Wyoming and Colorado.
