Finato ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application ("App"). By using Finato, you agree to the terms described below.
1. Information We Collect
Login Credentials
We collect your username (User ID) and password only to log you into the app and identify your account. Your password is encrypted before being used for authentication
Note: User account registration/signup and deletion is handled through our web platform, not through Finato mobile application.
Biometric Authentication (Optional)
If you enable biometric login (such as Face ID or Touch ID), your credentials are securely stored on your device using Apple's Keychain. We do not access, store, or transmit your biometric data. All biometric authentication is handled locally on your device by iOS.
We do NOT collect:
• Device information (such as model, iOS version)
• Device identifiers (such as IDFA or other advertising IDs)
• Usage analytics or tracking data
• Location data
• Photo library or camera access beyond document view
• Any other personal or sensitive information not described above
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information only to:
• Authenticate your identity and provide secure access to the app
• Enable biometric login (Face ID/Touch ID) if you choose to use it
• Process invoice approvals, rejections, and related business workflows
3. Data Storage and Security
Your credentials are securely stored on your device using Apple's Keychain with industry-standard encryption.
We do not store your password or biometric data on our servers.
Biometric authentication (Face ID/Touch ID) is processed entirely on your device by iOS.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
4. Third-Party Services
Firebase Analytics (Passive)
Our app includes Firebase SDK for potential future features. Currently, Firebase does not actively collect analytics, crash reports, or usage data. Firebase Core may collect minimal technical information as part of its initialization process.
No Advertising or Tracking
We do not use advertising networks, tracking SDKs, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except as required by law or to provide core app functionality (such as storing invoice data on our secure servers).
6. Your Rights and Choices
You may disable biometric authentication (Face ID/Touch ID) in your device settings or within the app.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us.
7. Children's Privacy
Finato is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app. Your continued use of Finato after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
