Finato ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application ("App"). By using Finato, you agree to the terms described below.

1. Information We Collect

Login Credentials
We collect your username (User ID) and password only to log you into the app and identify your account.Your password is encrypted before being used for authentication.

Note: User account registration/signup and deletion is handled through our web platform, not through Finato mobile application

Biometric Authentication (Optional)
If you enable biometric login (such as fingerprint or face recognition), your credentials are securely stored on your device using your device’s secure storage. We do not access, store, or transmit your biometric data.

Push Notification Token
We collect Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens to send you important app notifications and updates. This token is generated by Google's Firebase service and is used solely for delivering push notifications to your device.

We do NOT collect:

Device information (such as model, OS version)
Device identifiers (such as IMEI, Android ID, or advertising IDs)
Usage analytics or tracking data
Location data
Any other personal or sensitive information not described above

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to:

Authenticate your identity and provide secure access to the app
Enable biometric login if you choose to use it
Send important notifications via push notifications

3. Data Storage and Security

Your credentials are securely stored on your device using industry-standard encryption.
We do not store your password or biometric data on our servers.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except as required by law.
Notification tokens are used only for delivering notifications.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You may update your login credentials at any time within the app.
You may disable biometric authentication in your device settings.
You may opt out of push notifications via your device settings.

6. Children’s Privacy

Finato is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app. Your continued use of Finato after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes
