The only information transmitted to and stored by us (the developer) is:
Your Username and a unique User Identifier.
Basic device info (platform, app version).
Purpose: To identify active users and personalize your experience within the app.
The following data remains strictly private and is NEVER accessible to us:
Financial Data: All your expenses, income, budgets, and accounts are stored ONLY on your local device.
Cloud Sync (Google Drive): If you use sync, your data is stored in your private Google Drive account. We have NO access to this data.
Images/Files: Any receipt scans or files stay on your device.
We use the collected Username and User Identifier for:
User Analytics: To track unique active users and distinguish real engagement from automated activity.
Personalization: To display your name within the interface for a more personal experience.
Your data is handled with care:
Local Storage: All financial records and detailed app settings are stored locally on your phone using secure local storage.
User Information (Firebase): Your name and profile identifier are stored securely on our Google Firebase servers to identify active accounts and sync settings.
Cloud Sync (Google Drive): If you enable Cloud Sync, your financial data is transmitted directly between your device and your personal Google Drive. We do not intermediate this process.
No Sale of Data: We never sell or share your personal information with third-party advertisers.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your financial data is not shared with advertisers or analytics companies.
Manual Entry: All transaction data is entered manually by you. The app does not read any messages, notifications, or external data sources.
Camera (Optional): The AI receipt scanner may use your camera or photo gallery to read receipt text locally on-device for convenience. No image data is uploaded to external servers.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the "Last Updated" date.
Users have full control over their data. You can delete all your personal data (including your username and any remotely stored identifiers) at any time by using the "Clean Reset (Wipe All)" feature within the app's Settings/Profile screen.
