Why is it important? For the premie-pension savings, the money is invested in the capital market. This means that your money will increase or decrease with the return on the fund. You have the opportunity to choose which funds you invest in. Choosing a fund with a lower fee can be important in the long term, as the net return will be higher (see the section on savings in the stock market). If you do not make an active choice, your money will be put into the 7th AP Fund.
Why is it important? Occupational pension is an important part of your livelihood when you grow old. If your employer has a collective agreement, you have an occupational pension. Reviewing whether your employer has an occupational pension is important to see what your old-age support looks like. If your employer does not have a collective agreement, ask if the employer has entered into a private agreement and what it looks like.
