What Are The Financial Literacy Standards?
These standards, which were required by law to be infused in every district's curriculum by September 2015, cover widespread topics. These topics include money management, career choice, specific skills needed for career readiness, and becoming a critical consumer.
The standards are broken down by the end of 4th grade, 8th grade, and 12th grade. Take a look and ask yourself: By the end of 8th grade, am I able to do most of what is expected of me?

Researching, analyzing, and displaying an understanding of finances and a career choice is an immensely valuable life skill. Now, by improving upon our research, writing, and presentation skills, we can incorporate these life skills into our learning process. As of a few years ago, this type of project was sorely needed.
