Privacy Policy for FiltallÂ
Last Updated: December 22, 2025
Introduction Filtall ("we", "us", or "our") provides a browser extension to filter comments on various social media platforms. We prioritize your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
Data Collection and Usage We do not collect, store, share, or sell any of your personal data. The extension operates entirely locally on your device.
2.1 Host Permissions We request access to specific websites (YouTube, Naver, Instagram, TikTok) strictly to:
Identify comment sections within the web page.
Apply your filtering rules (hiding specific comments).
We do not track your browsing history or read content from other parts of the page.
2.2 AI Toxicity Model The extension uses a TensorFlow.js model to identify toxic content.
This model runs locally in your browser.
The text of the comments you view is analyzed on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third parties.
Data Storage All your settings (e.g., filter on/off status, keyword lists) are stored locally in your browser using the Chrome Storage API (chrome.storage.local). This data remains on your device and is not synced to any remote server by us.
Third-Party Services The extension loads the toxicity model files from a Google-hosted Content Delivery Network (CDN). This is a standard practice for TensorFlow.js models to ensure performance. No user data is sent during this process; only the model files are downloaded.
