Dhanush's latest film "Jagame Thandhiram" is said to be the biggest budget film of his career. The Tamil-language action thriller, directed by Karthik Subbaraj, was released on Netflix in June 2021. The film reportedly had a budget of around 55 crore rupees (approximately $7.5 million USD) and features Dhanush in the lead role alongside Aishwarya Lekshmi, James Cosmo, and Joju George. The film received mixed reviews from critics but has been praised for its stylish action sequences and Dhanush's performance.
