Eduardo Ribeiro da Fonseca (Tradução de Sofia Bocca)
This book brings together some contributions to Philosophy and Psychoanalysis, initially written as isolated texts and now grouped to debate certain issues that have interested me over the last few years. The point of convergence of the texts is my concern with the issue of continuity or discontinuity between nature and culture and the problems that this issue raises in different areas, such as the transience of human existence, the human situation in the context of nature and culture, metaphysics and materialism, evolution, physio-psychology, and, from a moral point of view, the philosophical affirmation or denial of existence, having as a counterpoint to these philosophical questions a psychological thought, in general, and psychoanalytic, in particular.
