Camerarapporten: Rapport waarin wordt vastgelegd wat de camera heeft opgenomen en met welke f-stops, lenzen, shutter speed, enzovoort.

Clapper board: Bord waarmee takes worden geregistreerd op de beeld en geluidsopname om beeld en geluid synchroon te leggen.

Clapper loader: Persoon die het clapper board bedient, de rollen markeert en opbergt.

Continuïteit: Overeenkomst tussen los opgenomen beelden zodat het een voortvloeiende actie lijkt.

Cut: Kreet waarmee de regisseur het stoppen van een opname aankondigt.

Decoupage: Een scenario opdelen in shots.

Doel: Dat wat een personage wil bereiken.

Dolly: Rails waarop de camera wordt bewogen; term om aan te geven dat de camera horizontaal beweegt.

Doorloop: Moment waarop de regisseur en de acteurs een scène met de mise-en-scène demonstreren aan de crew ter voorbereiding op de camerainstelling.

Draaiboek: Planning van opnames met camera-instelling.

Driepuntsbelichting: Standaardtechniek om een scène uit te lichten, met licht van links, rechts en achteren.

Eerste assistent camera: Persoon die de camera instelt en de focus bedient tijdens het bedienen.

Heads: Hoofd van een afdeling op een filmset.

Instelling: Camera-instelling waar vanuit een bepaald deel van het scenario wordt opgenomen.

Iris: Gat in de camera dat licht doorlaat op de film.

Kleurtemperatuur: Warmte die licht uitstraalt; gemeten in graden Kelvin.

Locatiemanager: Persoon die de locatie beheert namens de productie.

Mark: Gemarkeerd punt waar een acteur moet uitkomen tijdens een opname.

Master shot: Zie totaalshot.

Mise-en-scène: Manier waarop acteurs zich in een scène tot elkaar en hun omgeving verhouden.

Non-acteurs: Acteurs zonder ervaring of professionele training die zijn gecast op basis van hun overeenkomsten met het personage.

Omni-microfoon: Microfoon die geluid over een breed gebied opneemt.

Opnameleider: Persoon met praktische leiding op een filmset.

Opnameschema: Planning van de volgorde waarin scènes van een film worden opgenomen.

Property master: Beheerder van de rekwisieten op de set.

Pyrotechnics: Special effects op de set waarbij vuur en explosies worden nagemaakt.

Rekwisieten: Objecten die een rol spelen bij de handeling van een film.

Richtmicrofoon: Microfoon die geluid opvangt uit een beperkt oppervlak.

Rigging: Speciale constructies waarmee kan worden gefilmd op moeilijke locaties of op bewegende voertuigen.

Runner: Persoon op de set die verantwoordelijk is voor het vervoer van de cast en crew en verschillende boodschappen.

Take: Individuele opname van een gedeelte van een scenario vanuit een bepaalde instelling. Totaalshot: Camera-instelling waarin de scène in zijn geheel te zien is.

Goal: That what a character wants to achieve.

Dolly: Rails on which the camera is moved; term to indicate that the camera moves horizontally.

Walk-through: Moment when the director and actors demonstrate a mise-en-scene scene to the crew in preparation for camera set-up.

Playbook: Planning of recordings with camera setting.

Three-point lighting: Standard technique for lighting a scene, using light from the left, right, and back.

First assistant camera: Person who sets up the camera and controls the focus during operation.

Heads: Head of a department on a movie set.

Setting: Camera setting from which a certain part of the scenario is recorded.

Iris: Hole in the camera that lets light through on the film.

Color Temperature: Heat that radiates light; measured in degrees Kelvin.

Site Manager: Person who manages the site on behalf of production.

Mark: Marked point where an actor must end up during a recording.

Mise-en-scene: The way in which actors in a scene relate to each other and their surroundings.

Non-Actors: Actors with no experience or professional training cast based on their similarities to the character.

Omni Microphone: Microphone that picks up sound over a wide area.

Shooting manager: Person with practical direction on a film set.

Shooting Schedule: Scheduling the order in which scenes of a movie are recorded.

Property master: Manager of the props on set.

Depth of field: Area in a shot that is in focus.

Set call: Time when someone is expected on set.

Camera second assistant: Person who operates the camera rolls and maintains the camera reports. Executive producer: Person with the organizational responsibility for the realization of a film.
