I'm a film photographer based in Northern California, but work all up and down the West Coast. My portfolio consists of major cities like: San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Vancouver B.C., and more. I've been shooting since late 2018, at first starting on disposable cameras and later realizing how much plastic I can save shooting on SLR's. I was gifted a Canon AE-1 Program for my 17th birthday and it's been with me ever since.
My family always knew me as the one to document everything, as I was very tech savvy from a young age and loved capturing the big and small memories that my life entailed. I was also the one to always pull baby photos and VHS tapes out because I am one for nostalgia.
I shoot with film rather than digital as my main medium because I felt that it's more personal and nostalgic. There's time and a process that comes with shooting and developing these photos which has always fascinated me. I looked back at baby photos and realized how beautiful the warmth and grain film photos reflect is, carrying a sense of nostalgia and vintage-feel no matter how recent the picture. I think that's why I'd love to see more companies incorporating this home-like feel into their brands. I think nostalgia in mainstream media can evoke emotion as well as, create a sense of connection between companies and their clients.
I am well versed in Travel and Landscape photography while broadening my experience into Editorial and Portrait shoots. I love the Earth but I also love people, and I only shoot what I love!
