Personal Data

Personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, and username, that you voluntarily give to us when you register with the Application via Firebase Authentication.

2. Permissions and Device Access

To provide specific features, we may request access to certain device capabilities. You can manage these permissions in your device settings at any time.

Camera Access

We request access to your device's Camera.
Purpose: This permission is used to allow you to take and upload photos directly for your User Profile (Profile Picture) and to create visual content within the app. We do not record or store camera data without your explicit action.

Storage (Photos and Media)

We request access to your device's Storage (Read/Write External Storage).
Purpose: This allows you to select existing photos or videos from your gallery to update your profile picture or share content with the community.

Location Data

We do not collect, use, or store your precise location data (GPS or Network-based). Our application does not require location services to function.

3. Third-Party Services

We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations. Your information may be disclosed as follows:

• Firebase (Google): We use Firebase for authentication, database management, and analytics to ensure the app runs smoothly.

• The Movie Database (TMDB): We use TMDB API to display movie information. This service does not collect your personal data directly through our app.

• Expo: We use Expo libraries to build and maintain the application infrastructure.

4. Security of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

5. Policy for Children

We do not knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
