Ragù, my dog
I studied physics (BSc) and astrophysics (MSc) at the University of Bologna. Then, I studied philosophy (BA) at the University of Padua, where I joined the graduate program and I got a PhD in philosophy, working on dialetheism and some related topics. During my doctoral studies I spent some months as a visiting scholar at CUNY University (New York), under the supervision of Prof. Graham Priest. After defending my PhD dissertation, I got a 1-year postdoctoral research position at the University of Padua (FISPPA Department), within a project on the logic of polarization of irrational collective beliefs. Then, I moved to the University of Bonn, where I worked on some philosophical problems concerning abductive logic as a postdoctoral researcher. After that, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Eastern Piedmont (Vercelli), working on the project Conceptual Negotiation for a Better Future. I am currently a Fixed-Term Research Fellow (Type A) at the Scuola Universitaria Superiore IUSS Pavia, where I conduct research within the project Severe Uncertainty: Decisions, Evidence, and Probability (DeEP).
Besides Philosophy, I love hiking, reading, traveling and volunteering as a Scout leader.
