The 4Cs will be used to tie in global learning skills. The 4Cs are universal when it comes to designing learning experiences. When the 4Cs are used as a learning strategy, students have more interest in learning and view the difficulty of the subject differently (Rusdin & Ali, 2019). The 4Cs will be used as a guide for global learning skills; the skills are currently used in the Philippines and will help guide the lesson.
In many schools around the globe, the 4Cs are taught through project-based learning to motivate and engage students (Budiarti et al., 2021). The 4Cs are learning and innovation skills; integration into language skills learning should not be seen as additional content that burdens teachers and students. Instead, the skills can facilitate and reinforce students' language skills mastery (Pardede, 2020). These 4Cs skills are emphasized as super skills by educational systems worldwide; the 4Cs are universal when designing learning experiences (Rusdin & Ali, 2019). To design quality learning experiences, teachers must consider students' learning backgrounds (Srikongchan et al., 2021).
The goal of the global learning skills experience will include communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity. Communication: Students can read the short story and share reactions to the truthfulness of the events in the story. Collaboration: Students can compare their own culture to the culture in the story and discuss it with one another. Critical Thinking: The students can analyze the characters' dialogue based on the literary work's artistry. Creativity: The students can present a tableau about the significant themes derived from reading the story. Students can use Microsoft Office or Google Workspace apps to add a creative touch of technology to the tableau.
The content created will be a lesson about "The Gift of the Magi." A Google Slides presentation about the short story, graphic organizers to assess formative learning, a "The Gift of the Magi" Quizizz, a comprehension quiz/test, and a summative project using Microsoft Office tools or Google Workspace apps to create a tableau presentation. The supporting materials to be produced are a translated copy of "The Gift of the Magi" short story and a video translated into Filipino. The Google Slide will also serve as a support for the students. The students will access all the materials through a website that is friendly to mobile devices. Also, all materials will be uploaded to a Google Classroom course. If my partner chooses to do so, he can mirror his computer screen on a TV in his classroom.
The students will have opportunities to discuss "The Gift of the Magi" in class and compare how the story relates to their culture. The students will watch videos about the story and discuss the characters. The students will play Quizizz to prepare for the comprehension quiz/test. Quizizz is very similar to Kahoot but allows more characters in question-and-answer choices; this makes the application more robust than Kahoot. Also, the students will use a PowerPoint or a Google Slide to create a tableau presentation; the students will use clay to mold characters and props for the tableau presentation. The students will be using cell phones as their technology devices. The applications and tools to support teaching and learning activities will be Google Classroom, Google Slides, and Google Docs.
Google Forms will also be used for the comprehension quiz, and the Quizizz app will be utilized to study for the comprehension quiz/test. A Google Sites website will house all the content on the Google Classroom course. Students can choose from Microsoft Office or Google Workspace apps for the summative project. The students will also watch two videos about "The Gift of the Magi" on YouTube.
The writing style will be narrative writing in Filipino and English. The students primarily speak Filipino; they have their mother tongue, Kinaray-a. All the students are in a 10th-grade Filipino Literature class. The learners are focused on their studies and are already in 10th grade in high school means they are in their fourth year in secondary education.
The target learners will navigate the module using the pages and subpages of the Google Site website. To make it easier for the target learners, hyperlinks and embedded content will be organized on the pages. A welcome video will be embedded and a Google Slide presentation will be hyperlinked at the top of the home page to make a more user-friendly navigation experience for the target learners.
The target learners will read, discuss, and analyze the literary work "The Gift of the Magi." The Gift of the Magi" has a universal appeal and stands the test of time to leave a lasting impression on its readers (Sushma, 2019). The author O. Henry often wrote about everyday people who experience hard times. Della and Jim gave each other gifts they could no longer use; students will use similar passages to make inferences to guide discussions (Ridsdale, 2020). The lesson's objectives are to analyze the characters' dialogues based on the literary work and react to the truthfulness of the events in the short story. The students will compare one's culture to the culture of the literary text that has been read and present a tableau about the significant themes derived from reading the literary work to the class.
The target learners will use their mobile devices to access all lesson components. The number of students using mobile devices for higher-level thinking is rising. Studies show that mobile devices are becoming more popular for learning experiences in Pre-K, elementary and secondary levels. In the Pre-K setting, two levels of Bloom's Taxonomy were demonstrated, understanding and creating (Crompton et al., 2021). Virtual learning experiences are also gaining popularity. Teachers who use virtual experiences should prepare their students to be open to new experiences, perspectives, and practices in a way that aligns with global collaboration and empowered learning (Gleason & Jaramillo, 2021). The target learners will have an orientation day of learner expectations from "The Gift of the Magi" learning experience.

The formative assessments will be graphic organizers and worksheets that check the target learner's understanding of the material. It was a request that there be two summative assessments: a comprehension test and a project with a rubric. The test will consist of multiple-choice questions on a Google Form. Matching questions are the worst and cannot effectively be used to test higher levels of Bloom's Taxonomy. Essay questions are good at evaluating higher levels of Bloom's Taxonomy but are unreliable due to scorer fatigue. Multiple-choice tests are the best because they can effectively test the first four levels of Bloom's Taxonomy and can be graded electronically or by hand (Lange, 2022). Since the pandemic, online assessments have been widespread and accepted. To maintain the reliability of online assessments, they should be simple, easy to understand, and have no flaws (Husain, 2021).
