Welcome to Filexy - File Manager (the "App", "Service", "Filexy", "we", "our", or "us").
These Terms of Use ("Agreement") govern your access to and use of the App and related services.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Filexy, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the App.
You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the Service.
Filexy is a file management application designed to help users organize, browse, transfer, protect, and manage files stored on their devices.
Depending on the features available in your version of the App, Filexy may provide:
Local file management
Folder organization
File browsing
File search
Image, video, audio and document preview
File import and export
Wi-Fi / Local Network file transfer
Private Vault for protecting files
Compression and extraction of supported archive formats
File sharing between compatible devices
Filexy does not modify the contents of your files unless you explicitly choose to edit or delete them.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes.
You agree not to:
Upload, store, transfer, or distribute illegal content;
Infringe the intellectual property rights of others;
Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful software;
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or hack the App;
Interfere with the normal operation or security of the Service;
Use the Service for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
You are solely responsible for all files stored or transferred using the App.
Filexy primarily manages files stored on your own device.
Unless specifically stated otherwise:
Your files remain under your control.
File management operations occur locally on your device.
We do not access your personal files.
We do not upload your files to our servers.
Deleting files through the App may permanently remove them from your device. Please make backups if necessary.
Filexy may allow file transfers between compatible devices connected through a local Wi-Fi network or hotspot.
Unless otherwise indicated:
Transfers occur directly between participating devices.
Files are not routed through Filexy servers.
Transfer speed depends on your local network environment.
We do not monitor or inspect transferred file contents.
You are responsible for ensuring the security of the network you choose to use.
Filexy may provide a Private Vault feature that allows users to store selected files in a protected area of the App.
You acknowledge that:
You are responsible for remembering your authentication credentials.
Forgotten passwords or authentication credentials may prevent access to protected files.
While reasonable security measures are implemented, no software can guarantee absolute security.
We respect your privacy.
We do not intentionally collect or access the contents of your files.
The App may collect limited anonymous technical information such as:
Crash reports
Device information
Diagnostic data
Performance statistics
Feature usage statistics
This information is used solely to improve the App.
Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information regarding data collection and processing.
All intellectual property rights relating to Filexy, including but not limited to:
software;
source code;
interface designs;
graphics;
icons;
trademarks;
logos;
documentation;
are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except as expressly permitted, you may not:
copy;
modify;
redistribute;
reverse engineer;
create derivative works;
sublicense;
commercially exploit any part of the App.
The App may interact with third-party services or system features, including but not limited to:
Apple Files
iCloud Drive
Local Network permissions
Photos
Document Picker
Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services.
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:
merchantability;
fitness for a particular purpose;
non-infringement;
uninterrupted availability;
error-free operation;
compatibility with every device or operating system.
We do not guarantee that:
files will never be lost;
transfers will always succeed;
the App will always be available without interruption.
You assume all risks arising from your use of the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Filexy and its developers, affiliates, licensors, employees, or partners shall not be liable for any:
indirect damages;
incidental damages;
consequential damages;
loss of data;
loss of profits;
business interruption;
device damage;
other economic losses
arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.
If applicable law limits this exclusion, our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount you actually paid for the App or related services during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
We may also revise these Terms.
Updated Terms will become effective upon publication within the App or on our website.
Your continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or applicable laws.
Upon termination:
your right to use the App immediately ceases;
provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution shall survive termination.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China, excluding its conflict of law rules.
Any dispute arising out of these Terms shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation.
If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts located in China.
