# Privacy Policy – File Recover & QR Scanner

ChungamVN Studio ("we", "us", or "our") operates **File Recover & QR Scanner** (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes, why it is processed, and the choices available to you.
## 1. Information processed on your device
The App requests access to files on your device when you choose to scan, recover, clean, or manage them. File names, paths, sizes, and file contents are processed locally to provide these features. The App does not upload your personal files, recovered files, or QR payloads to our servers as part of normal App functionality.
QR and barcode scanning uses the camera only when you start the scanner. You may also choose an image from your gallery instead. QR results and QR history are stored locally on your device so you can review, copy, share, or delete them.
Files moved to Safe Vault are stored in the App's private storage and encrypted locally. Vault access is protected by the PIN or biometric method you configure. We do not receive your Vault files or your PIN.
## 2. Information collected by service providers
To operate, improve, and monetize the App, we use Google Firebase Analytics and Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). These providers may process information such as:
- App version, device model, Android version, language, and general technical diagnostics;
- App screen views, feature interactions, scan/recovery events, and crash or performance information;
- Advertising identifiers, ad impressions, ad interactions, and approximate information used for advertising and fraud prevention.
Analytics events may include a randomly generated App client ID, event names, timestamps, feature placement, and non-content metrics such as file counts or scan duration. We do not intentionally send file contents, file names, QR payloads, PINs, or biometric data in analytics events.

## 3. Permissions
Depending on the features you use, the App may request:
- **Photos and videos / files:** to find recoverable files, display files, move files to Safe Vault, and delete files you explicitly select;
- **Camera:** to scan QR codes and barcodes;
- **Biometric authentication:** to unlock Safe Vault when you enable this option;
- **Notifications:** for optional scan reminders, which you can disable in Android settings or in the App;
- **Internet and network state:** to load ads, send analytics, and check network availability.
You can deny or revoke permissions in Android settings. Some features may not work without the relevant permission.
## 4. File recovery and deletion
The App scans storage locations that Android allows it to access. Recovery results depend on your device, Android version, storage condition, and whether new data has overwritten an original file. The App does not guarantee that every deleted file can be recovered.
Scanning does not automatically delete original files. The App deletes a file only after you confirm a delete action, or after a successful move into the encrypted Safe Vault as described in the App interface.
## 5. Data retention and deletion
Files, QR history, preferences, and Vault data remain on your device until you delete them, clear the App's data, uninstall the App, or use an in-App delete action. Encrypted Vault files should be removed through the App before uninstalling if you no longer need them.

## 6. Security
We use Android private storage, Android Keystore-backed encryption for Safe Vault files, and reasonable safeguards designed to protect information processed by the App. No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
## 7. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
## 8. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, our services, or applicable requirements change. We will update the effective date above and publish the revised policy at the same location.
