We prioritize your privacy. File Cleaner Manager operates strictly on a local-processing basis. All file scanning, storage analysis, cache cleaning, and space management operations are performed entirely on your device locally. We do not upload, transmit, or store your personal files, photos, media, or application lists to our servers.
To provide the core functionalities of File Cleaner Manager, we require certain device permissions. We strictly follow the principle of data minimization and only request permissions necessary for the App to function. (No personal files are transmitted off your device via these permissions.)
android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE & android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Trigger Scenario: Requested when you click to view or enter file directories (for devices running below Android 11).
Purpose: Required to read and write to your device's external storage. This enables you to view, categorize, manage, and delete unnecessary files to free up space.
android.permission.MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Trigger Scenario: Requested when you click to view file directories or specific file types (for devices running Android 11 and above).
Purpose: Required to grant broad access to shared storage (All Files Access). This is strictly necessary for deep cleaning and comprehensive external storage management on newer Android operating systems.
android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS
Trigger Scenario: Requested at the first splash screen upon launching the App (for devices running Android 13 and above). It is not requested on the main home page.
Purpose: Allows us to send you essential notification alerts regarding device status, cleaning reminders, and optimization results.
android.permission.PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS
Trigger Scenario: Requested when you click to obtain cache information during the cache cleaning process (for devices running Android 6 and above).
Purpose: Required to obtain application behavior and usage data so the App can accurately identify and calculate junk cache files generated by other applications.
android.permission.GET_PACKAGE_SIZE & android.permission.CLEAR_APP_CACHE
Trigger Scenario: No direct user prompt required (handled systematically on devices below Android 6).
Purpose: Essential for calculating the storage size occupied by other installed applications and safely clearing their cache data to restore device memory.
android.permission.REQUEST_DELETE_PACKAGES
Trigger Scenario: No direct user prompt required.
Purpose: Necessary to support the App's built-in application uninstallation feature, allowing you to easily remove unwanted or space-consuming applications.
While we do not collect your personal files, we integrate certain third-party Service Development Kits (SDKs) to facilitate in-app advertising, monitor app performance, and analyze crash reports to improve user experience. These third parties may collect device identifiers (such as Advertising IDs) and technical usage data.
