The Fintech Innovation Group was created in the Fall of 2018. At the time, we noticed that while there was a sizable population with in interest in the financial technology industry, there was no community or organization at USC for Fintech enthusiasts to convene, innovate, and network. Thus we created FIG.

We strive to prepare a group of diverse group of students to become leaders, developers, and innovators in Fintech. We intend to do this with three aspects:

• Industry Events
  • We are constantly reaching out to corporations and organizations to get involved with FIG with events that give members the opportunity to connect, discuss, and network with people in industry.
• Group Projects
  • Fintech is an ever-changing field, with new frameworks constantly being created and ideas being envisioned. We want to help members gain valuable skills and experiences that will help them start rewarding and fulfilling careers.
• Community Outreach
  • It is important give back the community that supports us and helps us grow. Our motivated and driven members will be more than happy to consult with local businesses to address their financial needs and goals with the power of technology.
