Creative Brand Designer, Entrepreneur & Visual Communicator | Driven by Purpose, Inspired by People

It Figures—great design doesn’t just catch the eye; it tells a story.

Ever since I was young, I’ve had a passion for bringing my unique ideas to life. I would spend hours drawing, painting, and imagining new creations, and the possibilities felt endless. I'm Anika Figures, and my love for creativity has shaped my career path towards graphic design, marketing, and becoming a boutique owner. With over four years of experience, I specialize in crafting visual stories that connect, inspire, and grow brands.

Since 2020, I’ve owned TWIISTED Western Wear, my western-styled retail boutique where I design and craft my apparel, brand logo, and promotional content. I handle all my boutique operations, from social media and product photography to event displays and set-up, inventory, and customer engagement. My work has been featured at rodeos, pop-up markets, and community events, where I’ve built a strong brand recognition through my unique and creative designs and marketing strategies.

I have also worked as a freelance graphic designer, creating logos, branding packages, and digital content for a few local small businesses, including Exclusive Details, Level Up Flooring, and South Side Boxing. I love helping business owners express their vision through clean, consistent, and powerful visuals that reflect their brand identity and values.

My education at Frank Phillips College, paired with hands-on experience, has sharpened my skills in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Lightroom, and Canva. These hands-on experiences have taught me the value of collaboration, creative problem-solving, and visual communication. My approach is hands-on, flexible, and fueled by a deep love for what I do.

Outside of work, I stay connected to my community by donating handmade gift baskets, clothing, and toys, as well as volunteering for educational projects. These experiences increase my passion for purpose-driven design and storytelling.

I am thrilled about the opportunity to bring my design, marketing experience, and entrepreneurial mindset to a team that values creativity, boldness, collaboration, and authenticity. I believe that every great design should do more than look good—it should make people feel seen, understood, and inspired.
