The workshop will be held in conjunction with ACL 2020, and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this will be a virtual event.

The workshop invites full and short papers in the area of figurative language processing. It will also feature several invited talks and host two shared tasks on metaphor and sarcasm detection. Paper submission deadline is April 23, 2020.
The workshop is a part of a series of workshops dedicated to modelling metaphor, sarcasm and other types of figurative language:
