Letter to our Students 26-27

Dear GoFish Families,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! It’s Ms. Fisher and Ms. Gogerty, your 5th grade ELA and Social Studies teachers! We also go by the nickname “GoFish”! We are thrilled to be your teachers this year! Fifth grade is going to be an awesome year! We can’t wait to meet each of you and get to know you! We hope you are having a wonderful summer and we look forward to hearing all about it!

This summer, GoFish has been busy spending time with our families and friends! Ms. Fisher enjoyed trips to the beach and Hersheypark with her family. Ms. Gogerty spent time at a lake house in upstate New York, where she enjoyed kayaking and fishing with her family, and also made time for a trip to the beach.

We've also been busy getting ready for all of you to arrive in September! This year, you'll get to learn in two GoFish classrooms. We've been setting up our classrooms to make them bright, welcoming spaces, while also planning fun first-day activities and exciting lessons for the start of the school year. We can't wait to see you soon!

For the first day of school it would be terrific if you could bring in your school supplies, a healthy snack, a water bottle, a book to read and wear your sneakers because we might have physical education on the first day of school.
