Our students need to have their multiplication facts memorized to ensure they will be successful as our lessons become more difficult. Students should be able to recall all of their facts 1-12 from memory, just as quick as they would remember their birthday!
Flashcards! || They are cheap and they are an excellent way to help your child memorize their facts. They should practice this 15-30 minutes a night.
Online Games || Check out our Grow and Play tab to find different apps that help with Fact Fluency. Most can be downloaded on smart phones or tablets.
Number Rolls || Students can begin to memorize their multiples by rolling their numbers. There are many online songs to help them remember the Number Rolls.
If our students see that math really is everywhere, they will see how important it is to be successful at it!
Create word problems or math stories about everyday events you do with your child.
