This colloquium, that will take place on June 25-26, 2026 at ENIT, proposes a forward-looking discussion on how the insurance sector is evolving in response to major economic, technological, climatic and societal shifts. It will explore emerging risks such as climate change, cyber-attacks, longer life expectancy and new mobility models, while also examining technological and mathematical innovations reshaping the industry. Topics include the use of Big Data and generative AI for personalized pricing and fraud detection, blockchain and smart contracts for transparent claims management, advanced actuarial models for rare and extreme events and the development of parametric insurance solutions.
The first day will be dedicated to scientific presentations delivered by researchers from academia and industry. The second day will feature two thematic panel discussions as well as a hackathon aimed at fostering innovation and collaborative problem-solving around current challenges in insurance and risk management.
