Disney World

Disney World is a theme park in Florida, most often associated with Magic Kingdom. Magic Kingdom was the first park in Disney World but there are now 3 others along with hotels, restaurants, and shopping. The three additional parks are Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios. Along with the four theme parks, there are two water parks open year round.

Meaning of Location: This is a significant part of US history, it was one of the first theme parks and is one of the top places for fun and family vacation.

Environment: The first Disney theme park was built in 1955 in Anaheim California and was named Disneyland. It was made so that children and their families could go to have fun, and was a success from the start. In 1971 another park was built in Florida and was named Disney World. Disney World was made to be similar in comparison and ideas to Disneyland but with some areas for lodging. At the time, Disney World's most interesting idea was in Epcot, which was Tommorowland. "Disney World has become one of the most popular destinations for tourists in the world (OrlandoFunTickets para. 4)". Magic Kingdom which is Disney World's first and oldest park is the most popular. It has expanded and grown since 1971 to adjust to the changing times and interests so there is something for everyone. It truly is the happiest place on earth.
