Euphonium Repertoire by RCM Level
The following euphonium repertoire list is organized by Royal Conservatory of Music level. It is intended to help students, families, and teachers see a clear progression from early solo playing through advanced and college-preparatory repertoire.
Students should consult their teacher before selecting repertoire, since readiness depends on tone, range, rhythm, valve technique, endurance, musical maturity, accompaniment availability, and the student’s goals. Students preparing for an RCM examination should always consult the current official RCM syllabus and errata.
Level 1
Students prepare two contrasting selections of their own choice. Piano accompaniment is optional. Students may choose from the following anthologies or from other appropriate sources.

Associate Diploma / ARCT in Euphonium, Performer
The Associate Diploma / ARCT level represents advanced, conservatory-level repertoire. Candidates prepare a program of contrasting works chosen from the official RCM list. The length of the performance must be between 40 and 50 minutes. If the selected works do not total 40 minutes, candidates may choose another suitable work. The examination program must include at least one accompanied work. All selections requiring accompaniment must be performed with accompaniment.
