Benbruno is the Executive Director of Innovation & Sustainability along with being one of the original founders of the company in 2018. Benbruno has experience in biotechnology project management and spent the years before founding Fiction Formulations working for various Life Sciences companies.

Makenzie specializes in analytical chemistry, Bioinformatics, and information retrieval. She joined the team in 2021 and has been working on various research challenges and projects related to bioinformatics and precision medicine.

Brandon specializes in analytical chemistry and cannabinoid extraction/synthesis. He joined the team in 2021 as a chemist but grew interested in our THC recycling research and has been studying various ways to convert delta-9 Tetrahydrocannabinol into various minor cannabinoids through chemical and biochemical synthesis.

Christina specializes in analytical chemistry and data analysis. She is a new member, who joined the company in early 2022. She is currently the head of chemical waste and recycling and will be spearheading our new solvent recycling impact program.
