The Republic of Indican has implemented the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) to ensure digital privacy of the citizens while encouraging innovation in upcoming technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), big data analytics and automation. In 2024, start-up Aarohan Analytics Pvt. Ltd. at TechCity created an AI system called "NayanSense" — a video-streaming-based generative AI engine monitoring public CCTV camera video streams to foretell crowd movement patterns, identify potential threats, and aid law enforcement agencies in the management of public security.
Day 1 will begin with the Draw and a meaningful Memorial Exchange, setting the tone for the event. The competitive spirit will follow with the Preliminary and Quarter Final Rounds, energizing the participants for the days ahead.
Night 2 will be an elegant affair! Surprise Night is ready to unfold, featuring a special Surprise that promises to captivate and delight.
Day 2 will be marking the grand finale with intense Semi-Final and Final Rounds, showcasing exceptional advocacy. The event will conclude with a Prize Distribution Ceremony celebrating excellence and outstanding performances.
The goal of this National Moot Court Competition is to enhance students’ advocacy and analytical skills in the emerging field of data privacy law, encouraging them to explore legal challenges surrounding digital rights, data protection, and technology-driven issues.
