Warm-up:

Windmills, overhead reaches, cross body reaches, pickers, toy soldiers, side lunges,


Then a warm-up song: we listened to “Happy.” Each time he said happy we did a burpee, in between we did jumping jacks.

The Thang:

The Thang: 3 exercises, 1 minute each followed by an animal walk across the playground.

Monkey Humpers

Donkey Kick (1 min each leg)

-Inchworm


Modified mule kick (hands on the ground and jump your feet up)

Bird Dog

Dead Bug

-Bear Crawl /bunny hop


Sparky Crab

Grasshopper

Pushing Grasshopper (on your belly, rock between cobra and glute lift with feet together and knees out)

-Fiddler Crab walk (sideways)


Flamingo squat

Frogger

Panther Quad Taps

-Gorilla Jumps (squat jumps touching the ground)


Jumping Lizard

Zebra
