Fi - Smart File Manager is an Android file manager application designed to help users manage files and folders on their device. This Privacy Policy explains how the application handles user data, permissions, and local file processing.

Fi - Smart File Manager is a 100% offline application.
We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, share, or analyze any personal data from users.
This application does not collect:
Personal information
Email addresses
Phone numbers
Location data
Contacts
Photos or videos for analytics purposes
File names or file contents
Device identifiers
Usage analytics
Crash analytics
Advertising identifiers
All file management activities are performed locally on the user’s Android device.
Fi - Smart File Manager does not require an internet connection to operate.
The application does not send files, folders, metadata, or user activity to any external server. All operations such as browsing, copying, moving, renaming, deleting, encrypting, decrypting, and restoring files are processed locally on the device.
Fi - Smart File Manager requires file storage access permission in order to provide file management features.
These permissions are used only to allow the user to:
View files and folders
Create new files or folders
Copy, move, rename, or delete files
Search files
Manage storage
Access selected files and folders
Use the Secure Folder feature
The application only accesses files and folders as needed to perform actions requested by the user.
Fi - Smart File Manager includes a Secure Folder feature that allows users to protect selected files.
Files moved into the Secure Folder are encrypted locally on the device and can only be accessed through Fi - Smart File Manager using the user’s PIN or pattern.
Important notes about Secure Folder:
Files are encrypted locally on the user’s device.
Files inside Secure Folder are not uploaded to any server.
Files inside Secure Folder can only be accessed through this application.
Users can restore files from Secure Folder to their previous location.
If the application is uninstalled before files are restored, files stored inside Secure Folder may become permanently inaccessible or lost.
If the user forgets their PIN or pattern, we cannot recover the protected files.
We do not store, collect, or have access to the user’s PIN, pattern, encryption key, or secured files.
Users are responsible for remembering their PIN or pattern and restoring important files before uninstalling the application.
Fi - Smart File Manager does not provide cloud backup for user files or Secure Folder data.
Because the application works offline and does not collect user data, we cannot recover files, Secure Folder contents, PINs, patterns, or encryption keys if they are lost, deleted, or become inaccessible.
Users are fully responsible for managing their own files and folders.
Before deleting files, uninstalling the application, formatting the device, clearing app data, or moving files into Secure Folder, users should ensure that they understand the possible consequences.
Fi - Smart File Manager is not responsible for data loss caused by:
User deletion
Device damage
System reset
App uninstallation
Forgotten PIN or pattern
Clearing application data
Storage corruption
Operating system errors
Third-party apps or device cleaners
Fi - Smart File Manager may request storage-related permissions depending on the Android version and device requirements.
These permissions are used only to provide file manager functionality. The application does not use these permissions to collect or transmit user data.
Fi - Smart File Manager does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking services.
If this changes in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
Fi - Smart File Manager does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.
Since the application does not collect user data, no personal information from children is collected, stored, or shared.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in application features, legal requirements, or operational practices.
