Welcome to The Foundation for Health and Wellness in the Public Interest

FHWPI is an organization that supports health care practitioners in their grassroots mission to empower the public through disseminating self-care knowledge. We, as professionals, each have a specific set of self-care strategies that we provide to our patients and clients on a daily basis during office visits.  These strategies can be curative but are often preventative, depending on the individual's health challenges.  Additionally, the most significant way to reduce healthcare costs for all is through public education in strategies of health maintenance and disease prevention.  It is our joy and hope that in taking time to instruct others, that they will employ this new knowledge towards a speedier recovery and overall more resilient and robust life.

While we have access to our client/patient base and do much good one person at a time, we yearn to share our knowledge with our communities and create a much bigger impact. This can be accomplished, in part, through venues in our community where citizens gather together for any number of reasons, but on occasion, allow time for an outside guest speaker to share their "treasures".

It is with this purpose in mind that we are pleased to introduce you to our association of professional healthcare motivational and keynote speakers, the members of The Foundation for Health and Wellness in the Public Interest (FHWPI).

Members are natural healthcare professionals who devote their time as motivational and keynote speakers and deliver educational workshops, at no charge, on health-related topics in their local communities. FHWPI members will speak at your

>corporation

>organization

>school

>church

>women’s association

>parenting group

>bookstore

>health food store

>fitness center

>special interest group

Workshops and seminars vary in length from 30 minutes to one hour. Audience participation is strongly recommended when possible and those who attend always leave with practical information they can use to improve their lives.

Are you a practitioner of some branch of health care?  Would you like to offer your community your help through educating them about your profession and the many self-care strategies that specifically pertain to your field of knowledge?  As a member of FHWPI, you will represent yourself as a giver and not be misunderstood as one who is merely trying to gain business for yourself.  Please see our page on becoming a volunteer.

This volunteer, not-for-profit organization operates as an independent chapter locally with hopes of growing across the United States and Canada. The Foundation for Health and Wellness in the Public Interest is incorporated as an official professional association with the State of Minnesota (317 A). It has IRS 501(c)4 non-profit status.
