The Brown vs. Board of Education National Historic Site has donated copies of How To Be An Antiracist by Dr. Ibram X Kendi in partnership with Flint Hills Writing Project to expand the conversation. Register by December 20, 2020 for this event and you will receive two copies of this text. One will be a personal copy and one to share with someone you intend to invite to the January 31 Zoom conversation.

During the month of January, National Writing Project Teacher Consultants will select one or more of the following books to read. Throughout the month, participants will be invited to read, write, and join in conversation as part of a larger ongoing antiracist work. On January 31, from 2pm-3pm (CST), National Writing Project Teacher Consultants will gather on Zoom to reflect, grow, and learn.
