これまで、数理モデリングおよび動物を用いた神経生理学実験を通じて、学習をはじめとする脳機能や、うつ病などの神経精神疾患に関連する神経メカニズムについて研究してきました。藤田医科大学では、脳のモデル研究に加え、医学・医療データに対してAIや情報技術を用いて、疾患の診断・治療効果の予測や疾患のメカニズムの理解に取り組んでいます。
We have been studying the neural mechanisms related to brain functions such as learning and neuropsychiatric disorders like depression through computational modeling and neurobiological experiments. At Fujita Health University, in addition to brain modeling research, we are utilizing AI and information technology on medical and healthcare data to predict disease diagnosis and treatment effectiveness and to understand disease mechanisms.
