Thursday 14th Poets Group
In February our topic was FAIRY TALES UPDATED. We wrote modernized versions of classical fairy tales. Anne's CINDERELLA didn't lose her shoe but her mobile phone. For Georges LIFE IS (NOT) A FAIRY TALE. In one of Joseph's poems THE THREE LITTLE PIGS the first pig was homeless SDF, the second worked at EDF, the third was under OQTF. Jacqueline in her poem didn't feel like changing old fairy tales because she did not want to move them from her childhood understanding. Gorgette didn't want to touch tales and stories of her memories either. They are her “sacred mountains”. Dietmar modernized PUSS IN BOOTS. In Sylvie M.'s text,TOM THUMB programmed his GPS and met Little Red Riding Hood. Françoise's SLEEPING BEAUTY is called Bella now and is a most famous influencer.
Our next meeting will be on Thursday 14 March at 4 pm. I hope you'll be present in room No.11 at la Mairie du 6e, 37 Rue Bossuet 69006 Lyon
Topic: TIME MACHINE (with which you can go into the past and into the future)
