Aniesha Kleinhammer is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with 10+ years of experience working for FFSC first at NAS Lemoore and then joined the NSA Monterey team in April 2023. Originally from Chicago Illinois, she moved with her family a few times as a kid living in various parts of the US until they eventually landed in San Jose, CA where she graduated high school and began college. Her professional goal to work in human services led her to finish her bachelor’s degree and certificate in victim services at Fresno State. She worked for some time in community-based victim advocacy and then went on to work in K-12 education with at risk youth. She went back to school to get her master’s degree in marriage and family therapy so she could further pursue her passion of helping individuals and families move toward a life of healing and improved resiliency after trauma. That passion led her to working with military members and their families as they navigate the unique challenges and adjustments that come with the military lifestyle. Aside from helping individuals and families, Aniesha enjoys working together with her team on providing services that help the entire community FFSC serves. She seeks out creative solutions and opportunities to collaborate toward that goal. Her love for knowledge and education brought her to pursuit and completion of a doctorate degree in Marital and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University with an emphasis in systemic program development and assessment.
In her off time, Aniesha enjoys traveling with her husband of 25+ years, adventures with their rescue dog Joey, beach days, and spending time with friends that are more like family.
