Filipino Families & Friends of North Edison (FFFNE) is a cultural association founded in 1994 by Filipino-American families from Edison, NJ and neighboring towns.
The association is organized for non-profit, educational, cultural, charitable, and social purposes for the good of its members and the greater community.
Its objectives are:
To foster awareness of the Philippine culture among members and their descendants
To develop educational programs which members deem necessary
To support family activities for all ages
To foster professional, ethical, and friendly relations among members
To network with other organizations with common goals
To support selected organizations and families in need through financial contributions and services as determined by the president and appropriate committee/s.
The group survived through the years by sheer determination of members to continue. Thus, helping future generations of Filipino-Americans discover their roots and appreciate their Filipino heritage.
