This is a comprehensive reference to fetal heart scanning, associated conditions, genetics and cutting edge advances. Comprehensive online videos accompany both the hard copy and e-book versions. The fetal cardiology unit at the Evelina London Children's Hospital offers several types of fetal cardiology course. Over 95% of participants have rated these as very good or excellent.

Advanced Course in Fetal Cardiology

Our next advanced course in fetal cardiology will be held on 7 / 8 November 2019

This course covers a wide range of topics including detailed demonstration of the major groups of cardiac abnormalities and a logical approach to assessment of the fetal heart. Specific areas include abnormalities of the great arteries and of the aortic arch, cardiac asymmetry, early fetal echocardiography and fetal arrhythmias. Aside from recognition of abnormalities sessions will include counselling following prenatal diagnosis and associated abnormalities.

This course is supported by Canon Medical Systems. Faculty is drawn from the Evelina London Children's Hospital and Harris Birthright, King's College Hospital (Prof. John Simpson, Prof. Gurleen Sharland, Dr Owen Miller, Dr Vita Zidere, Dr Marietta Charakida and Dr Trisha Vigneswaran)
