My name is Michaela, I am most commonly known as Princess Baby Michaela on Instagram. I have created Festie Besties to be an inspiring and iconic all-girls community. I started raving about 6 years ago. My parents are in the music industry and I have alwasy been drawn to spaces that encourage creativity and creation. My passion for raving started out as me admiring styled festival outfits and playing dressing up. The more time that I spent in these spaces, the more my apperication for human connection grew. I have found myself missing headlining sets just to talk to the super cool person I met at the water stand or in the bathroom and I would do it again! The part of raving that I value the most is the connections that I have made and the friends that I have been introduced to. I have met some of the most creative people I have ever met in my entire life. Going to festivals and raves is so much more than the music to me, it is an integral part of my personal identity. I find my friendships with women to be deeply emotionally fulfilling and this space is designed to be a safe place for women to explore their interests, aesthetic and to heal their inner child. 

As I became more comfortable in my body, I learned how to create social media content that was inspiring, motivational and, iconic. My passion has now expanded into a collective space where girls in the community can connect, plan, and go to events together. The aesthetic and theme of my brand is nostalgia. I believe that within each person resides an inner child. The part of us that experiences the world with curiosity and abundant happiness and joy. As we get older, the inner child becomes overshadowed and overwhelmed by adult responsibilities, obligations and societal norms. Yet the inner child within us still deeply needs acknowledgement and healing.
