Oral Communications Guidelines:

The oral communications will be synchronous on-line via Google Meet.

Each talk has been allocated 10 minutes, organized in blocks of 4 to 6 presentations.

At the end of each block there will be 20 min for questions, comments, and discussion.

Please prepare a couple of slides to be shared in the online presentation.

We kindly ask you to be ready to display your communication immediately in the program sequence to avoid delay.

There is a possibility that your presentation can begin minutes earlier or later, but it will be presented at that session, so you should be ready.

If any questions, please send a e-mail to fesp8.brazil2021@gmail.com

Below you can see some information about the submissions, such as the keyword frequency and a image with the authors institution locations.

The conference will be entirely online and free for both participation and abstract submission.

You should know that submitting abstract and presenting it at the conference are different modalities. To attend the conference and to receive a certificate you should be registered and participate in the conference activities. You can have more details at the registration page.

You are invited to submit abstract (maximum 500 words). Authors whose abstracts are selected will be invited to submit a full paper for a peer review Journal (We are discussing a possible special issue after the conference).

The main subjects of the meeting are as follows:

2) agricultural fires (e.g., slash-and-burn), wildfires, and prescribed fires, and laboratory fires;

3) fire effects on vegetation, soils, and hydrology;

6) traditional and cultural uses of fire (e.g., traditional community and native people) and the role of local and traditional ethno-ecological knowledge of fire are welcome.

Abstracts must use standard English and follow English syntax, grammar, and punctuation rules. Clarity of language is important. Poorly written abstracts will be rejected. Abstracts may follow roughly the following structure: background, objective, methods, results, conclusion. Results are required. Abstracts describing a non-research project without quantitative data must still report specific findings.

For technical program consistency, the Abstract Template bellow must be used for abstract submission. Abstracts must be submitted via e-mail by April 30th, 23:59 Brasilia time (-3 UTC), 2021. The document should be named the first author name and the paper title. The document format must be .doc or .docx.
