FAQs
FAQs
When did you open?
Our grand opening was Tuesday, October 21st 2025
When do you get new inventory?
We generally fill spaces as things sell but we also usually have a small back stock. But with artist residencies bringing in new art, the layout of the store changes dramatically every month so something old can suddenly look new.
Are you era specific?
No, vintage is a convenient and recognizable category but we aren’t wedded to an era like mid-century modern. We just try to give new life and homes to anything that we like.
When are your art openings?
The opening shows for our artist in residence are the first Saturday of every month from 6 pm. to 9 pm. Open to the public.
Is there parking near by?
There is usually plenty of street parking and we share the Plaid Pantry parking lot.
Is your store wheelchair accessible?
Yes
Can I bring my pet?
Yes! And we always have dog treats behind the counter.
Do you offer delivery?
Yes, free if you live in Mt. Scott-Arleta/Foster-Powell area. Pricing outside of the community starts at $50 and goes up depending on factors like distance/obstacles/man power etc.
Do you hold furniture?
If you are considering buying something we can put a 6 hour hold on it while you go home and measure/think it over. Pieces can have multiple holds and when one expires the next hold takes effect. If you have already purchased something we will hold if for up to a week but some factors may shorten or lengthen that time frame like size of item and amount of room we have. So we are flexible on our agreed time frame. However, a daily storage fee of $10 may be applied for every day past the agree upon storage time.
Are your prices set?
Short answer is no. Long answer is the range of movement depends on a few things. Any thing tagged with Fern & Wolf, or Wolfern is curated or made by the owners and we can negotiate freely on prices. As for our vendors, the wiggle room is a little less but not nothing. Deals can be made when bundling multiple purchases or if something has been on the floor for a while. As for non-vintage art, it all depends on the artist. We operate from 'the prices aren't movable' but if there's something you really want and have a fair offer for, we can certainly pass that along to the artist.
Can I purchase online?
No, most of our showroom is vintage and should be inspected by the purchaser before buying.
Can I pay over the phone?
If you have seen in the item in person then you can pay over the phone.
Do you accept returns?
No returns on vintage. 1 week after purchase to return house-made items for store credit.
Do you offer financing?
No
Can I apply to be a maker or artist?

Do you host events?
