I'm a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Otago working with Zach Weber and Jack Copeland on paraconsistent computability theory.
I'm also a researcher at the philosophy department of Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City and an external member of the LógicaMexa research group of the Institute for Philosophical Research at UNAM, where I collaborate with Luis Estrada-González.
I got my PhD on philosophy of science (philosophy of mathematics and logic) at UNAM. I mainly work on inconsistent mathematics and on the applications of paraconsistent, relevant and connexive logics in philosophy, computation, and the foundations of physics and mathematics.
I've taught several courses on logic (argumentation, propositional logic, first-order logic, introduction to non-classical logics) and philosophy (ethics, philosophy of language, introduction to philosophy) both at university level and highschool level for the last 12 years. I did some academic admin work as well through those years.
I'm a proud member of the Logician's Liberation League (where I'm known as Priest of Inconsistent Machinations), the Australasian Association for Logic, and the Association for Symbolic Logic.
