Privacy Policy — Fenwick

Your privacy comes first

No account. No sign-in. No personal information is collected by Fenwick from you as an app user.

Shopping bag items, wishlist favourites, search terms you type in a session, checkout form fields you enter for the demo, and notification toggles you manage are stored locally on your device or kept in memory on this device. This page explains exactly what the app does and does not do with your data, including how Google AdMob advertising works in the app.

1. Our Commitment to Privacy

Fenwick is built to help you browse fashion, beauty, home and gift collections, product details, nearby store information, and shopping tools — including search, filters, shopping bag, wishlist, checkout demo, and more — with a smooth experience. We designed this app so you can use these features without creating an account, without signing in, and without sharing your personal contact details with us. Protecting your privacy is a core principle of this product.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following from you as an app user:

Your name

Your phone number

Your email address

Your home or mailing address

Your date of birth

Government identifiers (SSN, ID numbers, etc.)

Photos, contacts, or camera data

Precise GPS location

Payment card numbers, banking credentials, or checkout identity data

Checkout fields you may type (such as name, address, phone, email, or card details) stay on this device for the demo flow only and are not sent to our servers. No real payment is processed.

No sign-up, login, OTP verification, email verification, social login, or registration is ever required to use the app.

3. Information Stored On Your Device

To support your shopping experience, Fenwick stores the following locally on your device only:

Shopping bag items and quantities

Wishlist / favourite products

Search text is kept in memory while you use the app. Notification toggles on the More screen stay on this device for that session. Promo codes you apply in the bag are handled locally.

Sample product catalogue content and store listings shown in the app are packaged with the app or loaded as display images. Your bag, wishlist, and preferences are not uploaded to our servers and are not linked to your identity as an app user. Data you manage in the app remains on your device — we do not receive it as personal user profile data.

4. Local, On-Device Processing

Fenwick is designed for local processing. Core features — including Home, Shop, product lists and details, search, shopping bag, wishlist, checkout demo, Store Finder, and More — run on your device using locally managed state and preferences.

Your bag, wishlist, and in-app settings are not sent to our servers for storage or processing. You can browse the sample catalogue without signing in.

An internet connection is needed for loading product and store images, displaying advertisements through Google AdMob (see Section 6), and if you choose to open external links such as support email or the system share sheet.

5. Data Display and Sharing

All products, prices, store details, bag totals, and information screens displayed in the app are read from on-device content and local app state. If you share a product through your device’s standard share options, that sharing is handled by your device and the app you choose — we do not receive copies of shared content unless you explicitly send it to us (for example, by email).

You are responsible for keeping any exported or shared information secure.

6. Advertising

Fenwick displays advertisements through Google AdMob to help keep the app free to use. Ad formats may include banner ads and full-screen interstitial ads shown when you navigate between sections.

Google and its advertising partners may collect and use information such as your device’s advertising ID, approximate location (derived from IP address), app interactions with ads, and technical device data to deliver, measure, and improve ads. This data is handled according to Google’s policies, not stored by us as a personal user profile.

You can limit ad personalization on your device through: Android Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

7. Third-Party Services

Core app features run on your device. The app does not send your shopping bag, wishlist, search text, or preferences to external conversion or cloud account services.

Google AdMob is used to serve advertisements. Image CDNs (such as Unsplash) may be used to display product and store photos. When you use optional actions such as sending email to support or sharing a product, those actions are handled by the respective platform or app you choose — not by Fenwick collecting additional personal data from you.

8. Cookies and Tracking

The app itself does not use browser cookies. We do not operate our own analytics or cross-app tracking services within Fenwick.

Advertising partners (such as Google AdMob) may use identifiers permitted by your device and Android settings to measure ad performance. We do not build personal profiles about you based on your in-app shopping activity beyond what is required for ad delivery through AdMob.

9. Network and Permissions

The app requests only the permissions it needs to function:

Internet access — required for loading product and store images and displaying advertisements through Google AdMob

Network state — used to check connectivity for image and ad loading

Advertising ID — used by Google AdMob for ad delivery and measurement on supported devices

We do not request access to contacts, camera, calendar, SMS, microphone, biometric authentication, or precise location. There is no sign-in or account permission prompt when you open the app.

Your locally stored bag and wishlist remain on your device during normal app use.

10. Data Security

Because we do not collect personal information or account credentials from you as an app user, there is no personal login profile that can be compromised on our servers. Your shopping bag and wishlist remain on your device unless you explicitly share content outside the app.

You can clear all locally stored app data at any time through your device settings.

11. Children’s Privacy

This app is intended as a shopping browse-and-bag utility. It is designed so that personal information is not required from children or adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Product names, prices, and store details in the sample catalogue are for demonstration and information within the app experience.

12. Your Choices and Rights

Because we do not collect identifying information about you as an app user, there is no personal account or profile to delete on our side. You can fully reset your app data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage:

Settings → Apps → Fenwick → Storage → Clear storage

Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored bag items and wishlist favourites from the app’s private storage area.

13. Shopping Experience Disclaimer

Fenwick provides a sample premium shopping experience. Product names, prices, promotions, store addresses, and availability shown in the app may be fictional placeholders for demonstration. The app does not process real payments or complete live retail checkout.

This is an independent application experience inspired by a heritage department-store style. Always verify real-world product, pricing, and store information independently when shopping in person.

14. Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the revised version will be available within the app on this screen. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
